A move is happening, pretty soon too. I don’t speak or understand the language, can’t promise to like vada pao, have some doubts lingering but will choose to make my home here in the months to come. Be good and gentle.
And then, I have had one of those Dhoni dreams again.
Dental Doctor receives another of his payments, he wants me to shift base to the States and then invite him over for a visit. There was a time when I could have found this amusing.
I have been reading:
Honour among thieves – Jeffrey Archer
The Summons – John Grisham
Twelve red herrings – Jeffrey Archer
Kolkata trip looks set for now; though the city brings back many memories I had do good to stay away from.
In the continued path of self-realisation, one has realised and accepted that there were people who made it their business to spoil me but now, having found better things to do/ lost interest, have moved on. And, I am left with me and my spoilt ways and not many takers!
I am, right at this minute, listening to Glenn Medeiros sing Nothing’s gonna change my love for you...It’s such an old favourite and I have come back to enjoy it.....
For now.
